      The self-drilling insulation screw for thin metal sheets on ETICS.

      Insulation screw FID-Z

      The fischer FID-Z insulation screw made of metal can be used to fix thin sheets to plastered ETICS façades made of polystyrene, mineral wool, soft wood fibre and polyurethane insulation boards. The special tip geometry rotates through the metal sheet directly into the façade without pre-drilling. Attachments such as cross-cut strips or metal flashings can thus be fixed quickly and easily. The sealing washer on the screw head seals the drill hole against weather influences.

      • The FID-Z is suitable for direct mounting of thin metal sheets (<0,8 mm) on ETICS without pre-drilling.
      • When screwing in, the tip drills directly through the metal sheet.
      • By tightening the screw, the sealing washer is pressed against the attachment part and seals.
